Heartwood Kite Festival Takes Flight at Heartwood Park

Look to the skies at Heartwood Park on October 17 & 18 from 12-5 p.m. for the second annual Heartwood Kite Festival. The sky becomes the show with a breathtaking display of color and motion courtesy of Great American Kites & Events, which boasts some of North America’s largest show kites. Attendees can enjoy a weekend of high-flying fun: learn kite-flying techniques from professionals, bring or purchase a kite to fly or relax and watch the sky come alive.
