Second Chance Comedy presents: We're All Doing Great...And Other Lies - A standup comedy show about the chaos of life.

Second Chance Comedy is coming to the Gering Civic Center for a night of stand-up that's funny, honest, and a little more meaningful than your average comedy show. Second Chance Comedy brings together comedians with personal connections to addiction, recovery, mental health, and some of life's harder moments. The comics turn those experiences into comedy that is relatable, real, and most importantly, funny. The show was created by Colorado comedian Joe Huisman after discovering how strongly audiences connected when he began talking openly on stage about his own experience with addiction and recovery. A portion of the profits from Second Chance Comedy shows is donated to organizations working in recovery and mental health. Come laugh with us at the Gering Civic Center on Friday, August 28.
